For The Women's Mosque of America's 6 Year Anniversary jumma'a, we were honored to hear from the first Muslim woman mayor of a major U.S. city -- returning Khateebah Farrah N. Khan. Farrah delivered her first khutbah at The Women's Mosque of America 4 years ago after losing her first city council race. She didn't give up at the time; instead, she ran for city council again, won the second time, and in 2020, got elected as the Mayor of Irvine.
